Southey Brewing Co’s Apple Beer Project 2025

Every year, our brewery doors open to one of our favourite traditions: the Southey Apple Beer Project. This is where our neighbours and friends come together to help us brew something truly unique — a beer made with apples donated by the people of South East London.
It’s our way of celebrating the harvest, reducing food waste, and turning surplus fruit into something deliciously local. The beer changes subtly each year, depending on the blend of apples that come in — but one thing stays the same: it’s made by the community, for the community.

- Monday – Thursday: 4pm – 9pm
- Friday & Saturdays: 11am – 9pm
- Sundays: 11am – 8pm
(Please don’t leave apples outside the brewery when we’re closed — we don’t want the foxes to get them before we do!)
Why Get Involved?
By donating your apples, you’ll be:
Once brewed, our Apple Beer (Graf) will be tapped later in the autumn, and everyone who donated is invited to come raise a glass.
